Totemic Mod which is based around the creation of Totems, and all other natural, and wooden things.

Features:

The main feature of Totemic, is Totem poles, these are carved out of Red Cedar wood. To create the red cedar wood, just create the Cedar Metamorphesiser (temp name, and a temp way to create the cedar) and then just right click on a sapling, and it will create a Red Cedar Sapling.

You then can craft a Totem Whittling Knife. The whittling knife is what you use to carve out of wood, to change the mode on it, shift and right click on cedar log to carve out a block. To see what mode it is currently in, just hover over the item in your inventory. There are 7 Totems, all based off of animals.

Totem poles are built in the following way:

They have the base, the Totem Base, this is carved using the whittling knife, and is the block which does all of the effects. You can then have 5 Totems above it, and they are also created using the whittling knife on Red Cedar.

Your totem poles should look something like the following:

These totem poles are powered by the life of nearby plants, meaning that it will drain the growth stages of them. This gives the Totem Poles plant essence, which it can use to do the effects of the Totems.

These are the following Totems and Totem Effects:

• Horse: This gives nearby players speed.
• Bat: A new effect that takes away fall damage, and gives you the power of gliding by shifting while falling.
• Blaze: It gives you fire resistance.
• Ocelot: Nearby creepers will not explode.
• Squid: Nearby players get water breathing.
• Spider: Nearby players can climb walls.
• Cow: Nearby players get resistance, and slowness.

Working with your Red Cedar:

Red cedar wood is very versatile, and has many uses. First off, you can carve the bark off of it. To do that, craft a Bark Stripper, and just right click on the log. After a few seconds, it should turn into a Stripped Red Cedar log, and drop some Red Cedar Bark. The bark is a crafting component, and the stripped log can be turned into planks more efficiently than just using the logs, and also made into charcoal.

The Blow Gun:

The Blow Gun is a ranged weapon akin to the bow, but it shoots out blow darts, these blowdarts can be coated with items to give them special effects, like poison, or a antidote effect. Warning, the rendering on the entity a little bit derpy, so it may look out of place in the world.

Totemic Staff:

This is a tool to get information from certain blocks, right clicking on your Totem Base will get you how much Plant Essence it currently has, and clicking on the Poles will tell you the Totem currently in it.

ZeiyoCraft Mod basically adds simple things to make Minecraft more diversified. These “things” can be ores, foods, alcohols or even a “security system”. It also adds various features such as chairs, keys, alcohols and drugs.

Features, Screenshots and Recipes:

Ores

The mod actually adds 9 ores : Copper, Tin, Silver, Ruby, Sapphire, Nacre, Jade, Onyx and Amethyst. The first three can all be found in the overworld and are as common as the iron ore (or less) , however you cannot craft armors or tools with these ores. Sapphire can only be found in cold/ frozen biomes ,and it is rarer than diamond. The ruby, meanwhile can only be found in desert and arid biomes, and it is also rarer than diamond, Jade is the same as ruby and sapphire but in in dense or “special” forests biomes (such as jungles, swamps, etc..). Next we have nacre, it can only be found in the ocean floor.In the nether we can find Onyx ore and finally Amethyst ore are located in the End.These 6 last ores produces armors, weapons and tools all slightly better than diamond’s ones, moreover when you wear a full set of one of those 6 ores, you get a bonus effect.

Armors

Alloys

Three alloys have been added to the game, they allow the creation of armors, tools and weapons. Because they use 2 metals in their creation the armors, weapons and tools made of alloys are lasting, effective and sharp.

Steel is made of iron and coal, he keeps most of iron’s characteristics but improve durability.

Made of tin and copper, bronze tools, weapons and armors are better than iron one in each field, except enchatability.

The Electrum is an alloy made of silver and gold, it is the best alloy in the game from a far, it is the perfect intermediate between iron and diamond, moreover his composition in gold may grant you great enchantments.

Food, crops and alcohol

Food, crops and alcohols have been added to the game to improve the diversity of this aspect of the game which is, according to me not sufficiently exploited

Hard-boiled eggs, nothing complex.

Apple pie, nothing complex again.

Purified flesh, that unlike his rotten version does not cause side effects.

Vegetable stew, expensive but very nourishing !

Chocolate cake,the difficulty of his creation is offset by his delicious taste

Vodka extract, made of cooked poisonous potato and will later able you to create the eponymous alcohol

The barley seeds can be found in grass like wheat seeds. His cereal can be turn into malt.

Grape seeds are also hidden in the grass. Grape can be eat or use to make wine.

The hemp will allow you further to smoke and to forget your Minecraft problems. Hemp seeds are another time hidden in grass along with the other seeds.

Three new alcohols can be crafted with a tankard, perhaps you have a headache, but who refuse a good beer ?

Waraxes have been added to the game, More powerful than a common axe but slower than these ones.You can also chop down trees with waraxes .

You will need to right click a bit more than usual to smoke it but when it is done, your health will regenerate a little but the world might appear… different.

Chairs have been added, allowing you to savour the whole new food the mod provides you

A sort of security system has been added, allowing you to lock your chests, dispensers, furnaces and others “TileEntityLockable”.

The key is the main element of the security system (qui par ailleurs est inspiré de celui présent dans Minecraft). To lock anything, craft a key, rename it with an anvil, and the key’s name will be your “password” once your chests will be locked

Once the key has been renamed, right lick on whatever you want to lock.

Mystcraft Mod allows players to create and explore their own Ages for adventure, settlement, or material gain. How to use:

Get started:

• First craft a set of Maneuver Gear and a Maneuver Gear handle. The maneuver gear is equipped in the belt slot and the handle is used to operate it, you’ll notice that it is dual wielded. From Minecraft 1.9.4 and onwards, you need to equip one handle in each hand.
• Left clicking operates the left handle, right clicking the right, not difficult to understand. Regular click swings the respective weapon, but it doesn’t do any damage! That’s right, you first have to equip a blade into the handle. Blades can be equipped on the handle by equipping them from your holster. You can visually see how many blades you have left in each holster and there is a tooltip as well.
• To equip a blade from the holster ctrl + click (left for left handle/holster, right click for the right).

How do I get blades in my holster?

• Craft a couple, and right click with a blade in your hand to put them in the right holster and shift-right click to put them in the left holster. Yes you can hit enemies with a bare blade, but you’ll probably cut yourself.
• Okay, now that you’ve got down how to equip blades and attack, let’s talk about actually using the maneuver gear. Shift + click launches a grapple (again, left click the left and right click the right), a subsequent shift + click instantly retracts the corresponding grapple.
• It is possible to start reeling in a grapple (and pulling yourself towards the hooked grapple) by holding the hotkey (default: ‘z’ for left and ‘x’ for right).
• P.S. You will take fall damage, a lot, that’s why there is special impact compensating boots to reduce fall damage. Or you could use something else to prevent fall damage of course?

Tinkers’ Construct Mod is a great mod for constructing, repairing and even modifying tools and weapons in Minecraft. You can also smelt metals to create more powerful weapons and tools to add to your arsenal. You’ll start off with a handbook. This should be your number 1 tool in figuring out everything you can do with this mod. It’s full of recipes and guides to make this mod easier to understand. There are also 4 other craftable books to help with more advanced features.

Features:

• The mod stems from patterns you create that ultimately craft the different parts to your desired tools and weapons. The tables you’ll need are the crafter, part builder, stencil table, tool station, and tool forge to get the basics going.
• The Stencil Table allows you to turn blank patterns into essentially part blueprints. You then use these to create the basic pieces that will craft your tool or weapon. It’s very simple but can get a little overwhelming with how many combinations you can make. That’s where your books will come in handy so reference them often.
• The advanced tools come in when you build a smeltery. This allows you to smelt metal into more powerful parts for your tools. The mod also adds a few new ores to the game that only further advance your tools beyond that of diamond capabilities.
• So once you’ve got a smeltery and some metals smelted you can make casts from wooden tool parts. Then use those casts with stronger metals to make stronger parts. It’s like turning Minecraft into an RPG with leveling tools and upgrading their abilities and adding new parts to them.
• And once you really get the hang of the mod you’ll be able to give your tools special modifiers like auto-repairing. So when your tool starts to deteriorate it’ll actually fix itself over time. Basically you can enchant your tools without needing experience first. It works entirely off of the items you have in your inventory. So instead of going into spells and XP to enhance your tools you can opt for hard work and determination with this mod.
• This mod will rely heavily on referencing the in game guides. They will help you immensely in your new trade skills. Get to the point where you can craft yourself a really powerful hammer and blast through your mines in 3×3 chunks. It’s really effective at quick mining with excellent yield and results. There are tons more to do with this mod so have fun discovering new tools!

Immersive Engineering Mod is an amazing tech mod about realism-inspired technology. It adds to Minecraft a certain charm that includes:

• Instead of glowing red tubes, it offers actual, hanging powerlines.
• Instead of one block that magically spits out dusts when ore is put in, it offers a crusher, a big multiblock (5x3x3) that features rotating wheels and spits out particles as it breaks the ore.
• Instead of a Laser that turns power into magical light and ores, it offers an Excavator, another massive, resource intensive, multiblock (3x7x8) which digs ores out of the ground with a big rotating bucketwheel.

IE is about making tech mods more balanced and more pretty, and adding its own twist by going for retro-futurism (think BioShock, Order 1886, SkyCaptain and the World of Tomorrow) rather than clinical white+grey future cubes.

It uses the RedstoneFlux API, known from Thermal Expansion, BuildCraft, EnderIO and other mods, but can be played fully standalone. Unlike other mods, IE does not use powertransfer via lanes of blocks, but instead via cables spanned between connectors.
